The International Fight League

In the future the year 2006 will be looked upon as another banner year for mixed martial arts for many reasons. One of the biggest will likely be the advent of the International Fight League. The IFL is a team-based league that includes teams of mixed martial artists from all over the globe, and begins on April 29th at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The FightWorks Podcast spoke today with Kurt Otto of the IFL today to introduce the new league, which will air its fights on the Fox Sports Network, and counts Bas Rutten, Renzo Gracie, Maurice Smith, and Pat Miletich as its founding coaches.
