#40 Carlos Machado Interview

If there's another surname that's synonymous with jiu-jitsu along with Gracie, it's "Machado". The Machado brothers, relatives of the Gracies, followed a similar pattern of leaving Brazil to promote jiu-jitsu to the rest of the world in the early 90's. This week we speak with Carlos Machado, the eldest of the Machado brothers and discuss everything from the early days of training in Rio, to his long relationship with Chuck Norris, to minimizing controversy as black belts are formed.

Excellent interview - Carlos Machado has alot of interesting things to say.

Can I make a couple of suggestions regarding the podcast?

Can you normalise the audio so everything is a reasonable volume? Some bits are quiet, some too loud..

Also, lose the music - It is intrusive and irritating.

If you must have music, how about some Brazillian flavoured beats?
